Yesterday, a woman was living in the basement of the house of two sketchy priests while a demon had its way with her life and tried to attack everyone around her. The sad thing is that she caused the whole problem herself. The good thing is that she’s finally asking for help and willing to give up some things to fix her mess.
Let’s talk first about tulpas. “The concept of a being or object which is created through sheer willpower alone. It is a materialized thought that has taken physical form and is usually regarded as synonymous to a thoughtform.”
From the forward of The Encyclopedia of Angels, second edition, by Rosemary Ellen Guiley, forward by Lisa J. Schwebel, Ph.D.:
“Not satisfied by the psychic reality of angels, we seek their “material” reality, as if psyche and matter, or mind and body, are independent and separate realities, and only the second half of each pair — matter and body — are “really” real. However, if we consider consciousness as a whole with many dimensions operating on and experienced in different levels, then at one and the same time, angels can be understood as separate supernatural beings and also as ultimately in and from the psyche. This is what Alexandra David-Neel, a religious adept in the yogic traditions and practices of Tibet, discovered when one of her mental projections developed a life of its own. Following certain visualization exercises, David-Neel spent months creating the image of a monk in her mind. So well did she succeed in bringing the monk to life in her mind, that he sprang to life outside of her mind. He would appear without her having to think about him, and he performed activities on his own initiative. Once he was even seen by someone visiting her tent. David-Neel reports that it took six months and considerable mental effort for her to withdraw the projection and get rid of him.”
With all that in mind, no pun intended, think about what would happen if somebody created a tulpa, and that got connected in with dark forces who were very interested in using it to control and corrupt said person? Well, that’s what we get to deal with. We’re not sure how much of this is the person being a drama queen, how much is about thoughtforms or personality splinters, and how much is real demonic stuff.
One thing that did happen was that I was visited by one of these demons who was testing me to see what I’m made of. Let’s just say it didn’t end well for the demon. If he’d had a tail, it would have been between his legs when he ran off. I realize that was a test from a spy to check out what he was going to be dealing with when the time comes, but there was no mistaking the “oh shit” look in his eyes. I upped my vigilance all night just in case he or the others over there got any cute ideas.
So now we’ve got this woman who created a splinter of herself, allowed a seductive demon or two to get attached to this splinter, then got so scared that she moved out of her own house, away from her family, and moved in with two priests of questionable virtue who have been keeping her shut in their basement until yesterday. I shit you not, this is really going on, it’s not a bad movie. My brother’s avatar was at that house yesterday and did some work to start the process of fixing all this.
The good news is that this woman grew a brain and asked me and mine for help. She went home to her family last night, and is ready to fight the darkness, giving up her connection to the demons, real and imagined. The bad news is that there’s some psychosis there about what’s real and what’s not, which is feeding the thoughtform(s) and her fear is goddamn demon filet mignon. Her terror is keeping them alive and well and so strong that she can’t get rid of them herself. The good news is that we’re willing and able to help, and have already started, with a solid plan for how to fix her mess. The bad news is that all this relies on her being strong and fearless enough to pull it off. The good news is that she’s no longer huddled by herself in a basement cell guarded by two priests that, as far as we can tell, are not who and what they claim to be.
Scary stuff. But not if you know what you’re doing, and you have backup. At last count it’s taking ten separate people, including the woman herself, to fix this train wreck that she caused because she wanted to feel important and let dark shit in as a result.
Moral of the story: Don’t be stupid. Don’t go around creating thoughtforms you can’t control, don’t be seduced by silver-tongued demons, don’t be a drama queen to have a more exciting life or to seem “cool” or more powerful, don’t be surprised and terrified when dabbling in forces you don’t understand comes back to bite you in the ass, don’t endanger your family and friends, don’t continue to feed the problem with your fear, don’t fold up when it’s time to fix what you caused.
