Have We Lost the War?

More senseless, maddening tragedy in the news tonight. Last night. Every night. People being slaughtered. People who are supposed to protect others murdering people in cold blood. People who are supposed to do something to prevent these things electing to do nothing. People acting on fear. Apathy. Racism. Classism. Misogyny. Privilege. Hate. Ignorance. Stupidity.

Nights like this, I really wonder if we’ve lost. The side of goodness, of the Light. Things seem so unbeatable and Dark and hopeless. Like it’s a tide of blood that never ends. Names. Faces. Gore. Bullets. Explosions. Death.

But we have to keep fighting. I have to remind myself, and you reading this, that the tide goes in waves. Ebb and flow. Dark and Light. I have to remind myself that this is all part of the change of the world. People choosing sides. Choosing between love and hate. Because that’s what it all boils down to, isn’t it? Do you choose to love other people unconditionally, even if you disagree with their life, their religion, their sexuality, their culture… or hate them because they’re different, and because you feel threatened in some way by that difference?

This is the moment. This is the moment where you choose what kind of world you’re going to make around you, because your actions ripple out. The butterfly effect. Every choice you make changes the world. Every choice changes you.

Please make the right choice. We can still keep things in balance and turn the tide. We can still push back the Darkness together. But we have to do it as a team, a force for good. Everyone makes a difference. Please do what you can.

I am a Light Warrior

archangel michael battling a demonThe Unknown Lightworker – The Light Warrior

As quoted from the above blog, click the link to read the whole thing:

Everyone in the new age/spiritual scene is familiar with what a lightworker is, but what about the Light Warrior?

What is unknown is the “hidden” lightworker that you may have seen them from time to time. They are the lurkers that sit in rooms, or various forums, and it seems the only time they speak up is when something controversial comes to the surface. Seeming cold, logical, and often times seeming negative, they are often misunderstood and disliked among the lightworker community.

The Light Warrior… those who make known all sides of any given issue or topic. Those who defend and fight for light and truth, either in the earth or astral realms. Those who restore, fight for, and keep balance in all things. The Light Warrior can and often will do those things that lightworkers do as well, but most often in a closed and one-on-one setting, and methods used may differ than those of most light workers. The light warrior methods may include the diplomatic but direct approach, bluntly honest in nature, but offering encouragement and support where needed and warranted. The light warrior approach may range from gentle and nurturing to a more intense, empowering “tough love” approach.

Light Warriors are aware of both sides of the coin, and defends the light by making all sides of an issue known, no matter how unpleasant or controversial.

The Light Warrior is silent, watches the flow of things around them. The light warrior is a staunch defender of the light and of truth (in all its various forms). The light warrior respects all paths and beliefs, but is quick to jump to the forefront of things if there is something important to be said. Often times the message the light warrior brings is against the grain, against the fabric of what most lightworkers believe or hold.

Lightwarriors defend light, fight evil, and make known those obstacles which could block the progress of spiritual seekers. With this in mind, this brings forth the different types of lightwarrior:

The Astral Defender… In the astral realms, it is the lightwarriors who are unseen as they go into battle against those dark forces who attack innocent souls both on the physical realm and in the astral realm. In gatherings of lightworkers where a psychic vampire is present and seeking a target, it is the lightwarrior that confronts the attacker and defends those that have been targeted.

The Defender of Truth… Mentioned above, it is this type of lightwarrior that tends to draw the most fire. The defender of truth knows that truth itself is highly subjective, each having its own meaning to those experiencing it. What is truth for one person might not be truth to another. The highly subjective nature of truth, and the infinite ideas that truth represents, provide a unique challenge to the lightwarrior. The lightwarrior speaks ideas to the masses whenever he/she sees an area of concern that needs addressed.

The lightwarrior knows that not all lightworkers have the same level of discernment, and is aware that with the subjective nature of truth– his/her ideas may not resonate with all, and is therefore left open to attack by those of whom his/her words may not resonate. The defender of truth’s style of speaking may vary from lightwarrior to lightwarrior, but often times it is the bold and upfront approach taken by some that tend to inspire one group of lightworkers, while drawing reproach from others. Many times those in support of the lightwarrior will voice their words in private, while those against the lightwarrior will voice their opinions publicly. This tends to give the appearance that the lightwarrior is speaking to an empty room, and sometimes leaves their credibility in question.

This is a risk the lightwarrior is aware of, and is willing to take in the name of the Greater Good for ALL.

A Wish for Community

abandoned church

I’ve been kicked right down
I’ve been spat in the face
I’ve been pulled, weighed down
To the lowest place
I’ve been lied to, shamed
I have been disgraced
Been ex-communicated from every holy place
I’ve been beat up and robbed
I’ve been left for dead
For the way I look
For the things I said

I’ve been cleared on the street
I’ve been left in the cold
Had my dreams held up
Had them shot full of holes
I’ve been laughed at, burnt, beat and butt of the joke
I’ve been lit up in flames
I have gone down in smoke
I’ve been stabbed in the back
While they promised the earth
Tried to keep my head high
For all I am worth

Those were a couple larger sections of lyrics from “You Won’t Feel a Thing” by The Script. It probably sounds really overly dramatic, but it’s not. Not for me. I’ve been abandoned. Lost. Betrayed. People have tried to gain my trust, then when I finally open up a little, they stab me in the heart. Sometimes they spit in my face for not opening up enough. They don’t even see their own irony there.

I’ve been in various online communities of what are supposed to be my own kind, or supposedly enlightened humans, only to hear that what I can do isn’t possible, and I must be lying. I can’t be what I claim. What I’ve experienced isn’t real. I’ve been laughed at, made fun of, attacked, and bullied. Even my name has been belittled.

I had hoped to find friends and kinship in these groups. I do have a few people I work with that came out of these, but for the most part… no. On the physical, I know just a handful of people that I see once a year, if that. I can’t find any place to gather with and find others like myself. I post in a blog, a voice in the wilderness, hoping that someone will hear and understand. I seem to be, with a few exceptions that I talk to over instant messenger, alone.

My dream, someday, is to be able to sit in a room with others and speak freely. To share ideas, and good food and drink, with others like myself, more than once a year. To get some work done and make the world a better place. I wonder if anyone here has wished for the same. I wonder if it’s even possible any more, with the world so fractured as it is. These are times of change. Maybe that’s my mistake: I’m trying to have a picnic in the middle of a hurricane. But sometimes a place of safety and peace is what’s needed most. I only wish others could join me.

We Are Everywhere

Secret identity

Where are the heroes? Song lyrics and comic books and TV shows and movies ask this question all the time.

Oh, we’re here. We just know better than to announce it to the universe. That never ends well.

We walk among you. That guy at the bus stop. That woman walking her dog in the park. Those people having coffee off to one side. Watching. Waiting. There when we’re needed most. You hear about us in the news sometimes. “Miracles” at the scene of a disaster.

Some of us do a lot of work outside the physical that doesn’t make it into the news, because nobody sees it. Nudging fate, waking people up, flipping the switch to the on position behind the scenes. You see the results, but rarely the actions that got things there. But those actions are happening all day, every day, and more and more people are waking up to the fact that they can do this too. They can be heroes. They can change the future through their actions. They can run energy from the Source in ways they never knew about, ways they never could before. Things are changing fast.

Maybe you’re one of them. One of us. Working behind the scenes. Waiting for the next opportunity to be a hero. Maybe that’s where you’re headed next. Are you ready?

Come Together, Right Now

unity in onenessFor a while now I’ve felt and known that there must be key people gathering out there in the world, and that it was time to find them and help be a spark in the larger flame.

I just joined the Unity in Oneness group, with the hope that this group will be one of the places people are gathering to really affect world change. The time is right for it, but finding others has been difficult. Which is strange, considering the reach the internet has.

I like their message, and I hope I can work together with them in a meaningful way. I hope they’re willing to work with me, considering who and what I am. A lot of people are not. This group did specifically say “awakened beings,” along with humans, so we’ll see what happens. It’s a lot more “newagey” than I usually like, but the purpose does seem to be in the right place, and is very much needed right now. I’m giving it a shot.

The Threads, Part 1

tree of lightOne of the main ways that I work is through what I call the threads. Each life, each spirit, has a thread that represents their life, just like in mythology where the Fates measure it out and cut it. It even has a texture like that, in my perception, but it’s made of light.

I see each person as having a different color of thread or string. My perception of that color doesn’t always match other peoples’, so I tell them to go with their gut and find the ones they’re looking for by feel.

I can’t explain how to get to that place, where the threads are all around you, other than to say that it’s kind of sideways from “normal” life. Like… stepping behind the stage while a play’s going on, and you can see all the ropes controlling the scenery, the strings on the puppets, the electrical cables feeding the sound equipment and lights.

Only it’s more like a giant loom that goes off into the darkness of the future. You can only see so far along them before it gets misty. There’s only one thread, but the end fate of it is impossible to see (unless that person is going to cross over in the very near future and you catch sight of the end of it).

Other threads are nearby. These are the people that are most closely associated with the one in question. Sometimes they’re intertwined, sometimes they’re touching here and there, sometimes just laying nearby. Whatever you’re most focused on is what you see. Let’s say you find your own personal thread in this place. You’ll see others nearby or touching or intertwined with yours. If you think about your spirit guide(s), that (or those) thread(s) will appear around yours. There are also branches and splits in the threads sometimes, little thinner threads that reach out to touch people nearby.

What I most often do when manifesting something for someone is to open up to my connection to the source, and touch that thread, feeding the light through it. I’m a conduit for the Light, and it radiates out like a golden tree, or branch, or fan-shaped spiderweb as it races along and outward away from me. Add intent, and it’s a very powerful way to get things to happen.

Let’s say you need a new job. I would touch your thread and feed it, and all the connections it makes, with Light that radiates out and forward into the future. What’s interesting is that things usually manifest in unexpected ways. Instead of one job offer, you might get three, two of them from completely “random” places, such as meeting someone new at a party, or an idea that suddenly pops into a friend’s head that results in a well-placed phone call, or hearing from a relative you haven’t seen in years that happens to know of the perfect job opening.

So, as you might have already guessed, some of this is about affecting probabilities. When you give the whole tree Light, sometimes unexpected fruit shakes out of it, to your benefit and surprise. Instead of randomly drifting through life, you can use this method to nudge things so that you and your goal intersect.

Depending on how likely or unlikely the result is, and where you currently are in relation to it, it can take minutes, days, weeks, or months to manifest. If you live in Maine and your goal is to meet George Clooney, it’s a lot less likely to happen than if you live in Los Angeles. But it’s not impossible.

Nothing is impossible. It’s just varying degrees of improbable. And we can work with that.
